Playing a game

Tap a cell to place your symbol. The rest is on this page.

Place a stone

Tap an empty cell. With Confirm each move on, the first tap aims and the second places. Above the board, the turn number and the player to move.

Zoom

Pinch to zoom, drag to move. Recenter appears when the board is zoomed and shows the whole board again.

Threat markers

A banner and marked cells show winning moves, cells to block, open threes and double threats. They can be switched off with Threat markers.

Undo and hint

Offline, Undo takes back the last move; against the AI, your move and its answer. HINT shows a strong move, after a short video unless you bought Remove ads. Neither exists online.

The end of the game

VICTORY!, DEFEAT or DRAW, with the number of turns. REMATCH plays again, the first move alternating. REVIEW THE GAME replays it move by move, for games played offline.
