New game: three board sizes, Quick, Balanced and Epic, and the lines to win

A 3×3 grid is solved in a few games: with best play, nobody wins. Gomoku XXL gives five in a row the room it needs.

Quick, Balanced, Epic

When you start a game, New game offers three sizes: 10×10, Quick, for a game of a few minutes; 15×15, Balanced, the classic gomoku board; 20×20, Epic, for long duels. The 10×10 is chosen at first.

Zoom on the board

Pinch to zoom in on the board, up to four times, and drag to move around. When the board is zoomed, Recenter brings the whole board back.

On a big board, a careless tap is costly. Confirm each move, in the settings, asks for a second tap before the stone is placed: tap to aim, tap again to place.

Five in a row, or more

On every board, the rule is the same: line up five or more of your symbols, across, down or diagonally. A line of six also wins.
